A new study of office workers found that simple daily meditation can reduce stress significantly over eight weeks.
Using brain scans and patient wellbeing, researchers found that the group were better able to deal with stress and felt happier about life over the eight week period.
Researchers found that the area of the brain responsible for happy thinking was more active than that involved with negative thinking than before the trial.
Additionally staff reported increased productivity and efficiency at the legal firm where the trial took place.
This gives everyone hope that there is easy stress treatment for everybody to manage stress!
While meditation is definetely not the only form of stress management, when used with a host of other simple techniques, it can really make a difference. Now science says this too.
